The report indicates that Central Europe would continue to maintain a consistent growth rate of five percent. This rate can even exceed the growth rate of Western Europe if free market reforms are completed. The new ranking report on Central Europe抯 Top 500 companies of 2008 comes somewhat as a warning to Western Europe on their latent economic potential. The Central Europe Top 500 companies of the Deloitte ranking chart are based from the Adriatic to the Baltic and the Black seas. Many of these countries have already joined the EU (European Union) or in are in the different stages of the process of EU accession. The Deloitte report also says that governments in Central Europe should accept reform policies as well as privatization initiatives.
